Regular town board meeting held on September 8th, 2015 at the town hall meeting room. Meeting notice was posted in 3 places in town: post office, hardware store and the town hall window box.
Present were Chairman Paul Ehlinger, Supervisors Nancy Schuhart & Jim Smith, Treasurer Chris Geske & Clerk Brenda St. Peter.
People present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Jim made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Nancy seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried
Brenda read the minutes of the August 25th, 2015 meeting. Nancy made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Jim seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried.

Brenda read an email from Aaron Loomis from the FCPC. Brenda will attempt to schedule a time for the board to meet with him regarding the fire department contract.
Brenda brought up a conversation with Kim from WPS pertaining to the card reader on Adams Lane. The board does not have a problem with it staying where it is.
Brenda read a letter to Russ Geiter and Dick Morris pertaining to lawn care and thanking them for their service.
The board read a letter from Woodson Collins about recycling hours.
Jim made a motion to accept the Class B liquor licenses for Shawn & Christina Cassidy for Cassidys Café LLC pending a background check. Nancy seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried. (background check was conducted and ok’d)
Paul made a motion to accept a temporary Class B license to the Wabeno Chamber for the Fall Fest pending a ‘six month rule’. Nancy seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried. (there is no limit on the number of Class “B” beer license however no more than 2 wine licenses may be issued in any 12 month period.
The alleyway south of McGraw Street will be surveyed.

Nancy made a motion to vacate and discontinue under s. 66.1003(4), Wis Stats – 14’wide platted East and West Alley, which sits between unimproved First Ave. and previously abandoned Railroad Ave. Jim seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. The motion carried. This resolution will be discussed & decided by the Town Board on the 27th day of October, 2015.
Jim made a motion to abolish the Municipal Court. Nancy seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried.
Brenda will work on a meeting date with the Townsend Town Board to discuss the Municipal Court.
