Regular town board meeting held on April 21, 2015 at the town hall meeting room. Meeting notice was posted in 3 places in town: post office, hardware store and the town hall window box.
Present were Chairman Paul Ehlinger, Supervisors Nancy Schuhart and Jim Smith, Treasurer Chris Geske and Clerk Brenda St. Peter.
Paul called the meeting to order.
Nancy made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Jim seconded the motion. 3 yes, 0 no. The motion carried.
Brenda read the minutes of the March 10th, 2015 meeting. Paul made a motion to amend the minutes to read: “Paul made a motion to accept the quote from Packer City for a truck chassis and Monroe Truck Equipment for the add-on package.” Jim seconded the motion. 3 yes, 0 no. The motion carried.
Phil Shopodock spoke to the board about public safety at the upcoming Forest County Potawatomi Gathering that will take place this summer. Phil is requesting to be on the agenda at the next town board meeting.
Rusty Oehler spoke about traffic concerns at the upcoming Forest County Potawatomi Gathering. This will be addressed at the next town board meeting.
Kevin DeMars asked about the humane officer position and property clean-up. Property clean up will be looked into when the board takes their road tour this spring.
There were no letters or permits.
Pam Labine from Forest County Zoning reported on the NR115 (Wisconsin’s Shoreland Protection Program) Mapping District. Pam encourages everyone to Google - My Sidewalk, Forest County, to express concerns and ask questions.
Pam Labine read letter she wrote concerning holding tanks in the sanitary district. Wabeno Sanitary Board was present and commented on the subject.
Norb Stauber from Rural Mutual explained the coverages & premiums for the next policy period.
The next board meetings are set for May 5th and 19th, 2015 at 6pm.
Chris presented the board with the financial report. Checks were 4142 – 4245 with voids of 4191 & 4192.
