Regular town board meeting held on May 20th, 2014, at the town meeting room. Meeting notice was posted in 3 places in town: Post Office, Wabeno Hardware & the Town Hall Window Box.
Present were Chairman Edward Piontek, Supervisors Paul Ehlinger & Tom Tallier, Treasurer Cheryl Ehlinger and Clerk Brenda St. Peter.

Ed called the meeting to order at 7pm.
People present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Tom made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Brenda read the minutes of the May 6th, 2014 meeting. Tom made a motion to approve the minutes as read. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Kevin Podjaski from the Sportsmen’s Club opened a discussion on the Old Depot Spring.
Brenda read resignation letters from John Gregg and Penny McLaughlin. Tom made a motion to accept the resignations. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried. The Town Board thanked these 2 individuals for their time with the Park Board.
Ed made a motion to approve liquor licenses, Cigarette License and Bartenders License’s: Temporary Licenses – Lion’s Club & LMT Snowmobile Club: Class A – Krist Oil : Class B – Rusty’s Wabeno Bowl & Pichotta’s Pub & Grub – Class C: Crystal Bell Inn & Spa B&B - Cigarette License: Krist Oil. Bartender’s License for Gloria A. Thileman, Debra A. Skorczewski & Brenda L. Michiel. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Paul made a motion to sign the garbage contract with Eagle Waste. Tom seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Discussion on various projects for the RAC fund monies. No decisions made at this time.
Tom made a motion to buy Kenwood radio’s for town equipment from General Communication. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Discussion on the road tour included East Ave and Folkman Street. The town employees will be cutting and removing trees along the right away.
Josh Jameson, Community Developer, gave an update. Topics included: upcoming events, Rural Development Grant, WPS grant for fire & rescue, recent town clean-up, nuisance Houses, Farmer’s Market, school house Roof, board merger, June 5th trolley night ride and upcoming retreat.
Tom gave an update on realtors for the possible land listings.
Ordinance for the court increase – tabled till next meeting
Next meeting dates will be on June 10th and June 24th.
Tom made a motion to move the Town Board meeting on June 10th to the Wabeno Legion Park. We will have a walk thru of the park at 6pm. The meeting will begin at 7pm. On June 24th we will have the town board meeting at the Trump Lake Pavilion. There will be a walk thru of the facilities at Trump Lake at 6:30 and the town board meeting will start at 7pm. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
