Regular town board meeting held on November 17th, 2015 at the town hall meeting room.  Meeting notice was posted in 3 places in town: post office, hardware store and the town hall window box.

Present were Chairman Paul Ehlinger, Supervisors Nancy Schuhart & Jim Smith, Treasurer Chris Geske and Clerk Brenda St. Peter.

People present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Jim made a motion to approve the agenda as presented.  Nancy seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Brenda read the minutes of the October 27th, 2015 public hearing meeting.  Jim made a motion to accept the minutes as read.  Nancy seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Public Comments:

John Malchak asked about the progress of the unpaid fines due to the Municipal Court.

Letters:

Brenda presented the board with an informational letter from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  The Bureau is requesting comments on 280 acres of land located within the towns of Blackwell and Wabeno that the Potawatomi Community is looking into purchasing.

Brenda presented the board with an information letter from WPS.

Brenda presented the board with a letter from Northwoods Veterans’ Memorial requesting contributions.

Brenda presented the board with a letter from the PLAY organization of the Wabeno School District thanking the board for the contribution made.

Nancy gave Brenda a letter from attorneys to provide records for a workman’s comp claim. 

Jamie Anderson from MSA gave the board an update on the survey which covered a portion of Prospect Ave. and the alley’s in Block J and Block I of Soperton Subdivision.  He presented the board with a map of the survey.  Brenda will be sending a copy to the land owners affected by the survey.

Chris presented the board with a copy of the financial report.

Checks are 4684 – 4724.

The next meeting date is set for Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at 6 pm.

Jim made a motion to adjourn.  Paul seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.
