Regular town board meeting held on March 10, 2015 at the town hall meeting room. Meeting notice was posted in 3 places in town: post office, Wabeno Hardware & the town hall window box.
Present were Supervisors Paul Ehlinger and Kevin Podjaski, Treasurer Cheryl Ehlinger and Clerk Brenda St. Peter.
Brenda called the meeting to order at 7pm.
People present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Kevin made a motion to have Supervisor Paul Ehlinger chair the meeting. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Kevin made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Brenda read the minutes of the February 10th, 2015 meeting. Paul made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Kevin seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Brenda read a letter from Mary Beck requesting $100 per year for the domain name and the hosting costs of the Town of Wabeno website. Kevin made a motion to pay the $100 per year. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Kevin made a motion to approve Class A liquor license for Kelly Grutzik – Wabeno Bait and Beverage. Paul seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Chief Mick Ashbeck presented the board with drug related citations for the Town of Wabeno and asked the board to consider 30% pay back to the K9 program. The board will look further into this request.
Paul Ehlinger read his resignation from the K9 board.
Paul read a letter from Veterinarian Dr. Lauren explaining that there is no size requirement for the 9 way vaccine for Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis and Leptospirosis. Concerns about dog housing were also discussed.
May 30th & 31st and September 12th and 13th, 2015, will be the days scheduled for Dump Days.
Bob McMahan representing Fahrner Asphalt Sealers discussed 1 day of road work. The town board will be discussing where the work will be done at a later time. Possible streets are River, Oconto and Cecil. Paul made a motion to sign a one day contract for road work with Farhner Asphalt Sealers. Kevin seconded the motion. The motion carried.
2 quotes on a 2016 International dump truck, model # 2016 7400 SFA 4x2 (SA525) were opened and discussed. Packer City out of Shawano was $85, 465. Mid State Truck out of Marshfield was $86,352.01. Also discussed was an additional add-on package from Monroe Truck Equipment out of Depere for $69, 939. Paul made a motion to accept the quote from Packer City and Monroe Truck Equipment for a new dump truck and add on package. Kevin seconded the motion. The motion carried.
The annual meeting is scheduled for April 21, 2015. The regular town board meeting will follow that meeting.
Cheryl presented the board with the financial report. Checks were number 4089 – 4141 with a void of 4139.
Paul made a motion to adjourn. Kevin seconded the motion. The motion carried.
