Regular town board meeting held on December 1st, 2016 following the budget meeting at the town hall meeting room.  Notice was posted in 3 places in town: post office, hardware store and town hall window box.

Present were Chairman Paul Ehlinger, Supervisors Jim Smith & Nancy Schuhart and Clerk Brenda St. Peter.

Paul called the meeting to order.

Pledge of Allegiance

Jim made a motion to adopt the 2017 Budget.  Nancy seconded the motion. 3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Nancy made a motion to approve the agenda as presented.  Jim seconded the motion.   3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Brenda read the minutes from November 3rd, November 16th and the November 27th, 2016 meetings.  Jim made a motion to accept the minutes as read with a correction on the November 3rd meeting to read 2017 instead of 2016.  Nancy seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Public Comments:

Scott Schuhart asked Paul if there was any more information on the Oconto River Waterway Restoration project being done by the FC Potawatomi's in the town of Wabeno.

Letters:

Brenda read a letter from the PLAY organization thanking the town of Wabeno for their donation.

Brenda read a resignation letter from Donna Hogan stating she is retiring from the Wabeno Sanitary District. 

Nancy made a motion to appoint Donna Hogan as a Commissioner on the Wabeno Sanitary Board.  Jim seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried. 

Brenda shared with the board a project completion report from the AmeriCorps.  This shows their project summary and accomplishments done in the town.

Specs will be put together for the bath house at the fire fighter's grounds to be put out on bids.

Specs will be put together for the pavilion at Trump Lake to be put out on bids.

Jim made a motion to transfer the town's reserve money to a money market account to be labeled reserved money's.  Nancy seconded the motion.  3 yes 0 no.  Motion carried.

Next scheduled meeting is December 29th, 2016 at 6pm.
